RTA is a C library that lets PostgreSQL clients talk to a daemon as if the daemon were a PG server. RTA makes it easy for UIs to get/set status and configuration from a daemon while the daemon is running.
The Run Time Accessproject is a PostgreSQL Community project that is a part of the pgFoundry.
